Following improvements to the online booking system, Portsmouth based Crown Blue Line, the inland waterways holiday specialist, has seen the number of holidays booked via the world wide web increase by 150%.
The previous online booking system has been developed adding a more user-friendly interface including a step-by-step procedure. Another addition is a highly visible flow path showing the customer exactly where they are in the booking timeline.
“We are delighted that the improved booking system has been well received. Visitors appear more confident in booking a holiday themselves with the new system as opposed to in the past, finding their holiday and then calling,” said Alexandra Brice, Marketing Manager of First Choice Inland Waterways. “Holiday searches by visitors to the site are also up by a third.” Brice added.
