All holidays of a week or more between 2nd July and 31st August from any of Crown Blue Line’s six bases in Burgundy, two bases in Holland or three bases in Ireland get a saving of 5% for one child in the party under 16, or 10% for two children, off the boat charter price.
HOLLAND
With Crown Blue Line, families can cruise through pretty countryside scattered with windmills to quaint little Weesp on the outskirts of Amsterdam and then jump on bikes or take a ten minute train ride to the heart of the city with its cafés, inns, galleries and museums. Visit the Artis Zoo with its animals, planetarium and aquarium, the state of the art NEMO educational centre for science and technology, and colourful Leidseplein square with its jugglers, fire-eaters and street performers. With the Family Discount for two children under 16, prices for the summer holidays start from £925 for a week on a Cirrus sleeping 2 + 2 (£231 pp).
IRELAND
Through its partner Emerald Star, Crown Blue Line offers a fleet of 20 boats cruising the Shannon between Portumna, Carrick and Belturbet, letting the family enjoy Ireland’s beautiful countryside from the water, with fabulous fishing, glorious golf and genuine Irish hospitality all along the way. Different cruisers are designed for parties of two up to ten, and, as with all Crown Blue Line boats, are so easy to handle they require no previous boating experience. Prices in July and August start from £695 for a family of four with two children under 16, for a week on a Consort sleeping 2 + 2.
BURGUNDY
Beautiful countryside, wonderful wine and food, and the French love of children makes Burgundy a great choice for the family. Luxury cruisers in Burgundy in the school holidays with two children onboard under 16 start from £930 for a week on a Corsair sleeping up to eight, (£116 per person).
All prices exclude travel to and from the base but staff at Crown Blue Line are always happy to advise on travel options and arrange transfers. Call 0870 160 5635 or visit www.crownblueline.com.
